Holiday shopping rush is fast approaching and everybody will be tempted to shop around on the last minute.

Cash

1. Well, this is where you can save money at the end. Why? You will only be left with buying gifts that fits within your cash on hand. You will not buy something that is beyond your budget.

2. This can be a bit nerve-racking, carrying cash around when you go shopping. You never know someone will knick your bag off from you.

3. There are no interest rates that you need to pay monthly. What you have is what you are going to pay for – nothing more, nothing less.

Credit Card

1. This is the convenient way to pay especially when you online shopping.

2. There is a tendency that you will be shopping for more of which you do not need at all. Also, you will be paying interest at the end especially when you your credit card bill monthly.

3. There is no fear of carrying a credit card. It is not as tempting as carrying cash inside your bag.

Whether you pay in cash or in credit card, there will always be pros and cons. If you want to save money at the end and do not want to spend what you cannot afford go for cash. However, if you opted for convenience and security go for credit card.
